Renato specialises in conveyancing and property law, commercial law, drafting wills, and estate planning. He has over 40 years’ experience in the legal profession.

Whilst Phillips Taglieri primarily specialises in litigation, the success of the firm in this field means satisfied clients often return to us when they require the specialist skills of an experienced commercial lawyer.

Along with general conveyancing and estate matters, Renato has been involved in significant sales and purchases of businesses, as well as franchises, commercial leases and property development. He is experienced across the breadth of commercial law.

Most of Renato’s business comes from repeat clients or referrals, a sure indicator of client satisfaction. He believes that regular communication is the best way to provide an efficient, personal and professional service. Renato’s clients come from all over Tasmania, and he has a significant interstate client base.

Renato was admitted to practise law in New South Wales in 1974. He was a solicitor with the Public Trustee in New South Wales for 11 years before moving to Tasmania in 1985, joining Phillips Taglieri in 2001.

Renato undertakes pro bono work in respect of wills, powers of attorney and enduring guardianship issues from time to time. When not at work, he can often be found in his orchard, hothouse and veggie patch.
