Peta Phillips
Office Manager
“No one knows what is around the corner. I never know what the day holds for me, and this makes my job interesting and rewarding.”
Although not a legal practitioner, Peta has an important role as a lay person in reassuring and listening to clients, many of whom have had their lives turned upside down by trauma.
Peta’s job involves many facets, from reception duties to performing all the tasks that keep our office functioning.
A major component of her role is working closely with principal Rob Phillips’ clients as support during mediations and trials. Peta develops a close rapport with clients so they feel they are not just another file or part of an impersonal legal process.
Peta joined Phillips Taglieri in 1996 after teaching at primary schools for several years, then later teaching communications at TAFE.
Peta enjoys travel, food and wine, cooking, reading and walking the family border collie.
